Business Manager
Dave oversees the back-office functions and provides crucial support to the team. He manages all financial aspects, including client invoicing, resolving queries, compiling quarterly accounts and producing KPIs.
Dave has over 40 years’ experience working across a number of sectors, half of that in Financial Services at Halifax Building Society then Bank. His strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail were put to good use during his 10 years as a Major Incident Analyst with West Yorkshire Police. More recently, he spent a decade working as a baker at an artisan bakery in West Yorkshire, carrying out the ‘hands on’ side of the job while also performing the role of Finance Director. In a voluntary capacity, he is Head of Analysis at Locate International, a charity dedicated to finding missing persons and providing names to unidentified remains.
Dave has had a varied career, including roles in financial services, police analysis and the food sector, always with a focus on detailed analysis and process improvement. He is now integral to DTP’s operations, ensuring smooth financial management. Outside of work, Dave enjoys outdoor activities, supports Oldham Athletic and is a Countdown enthusiast, having been a quarter-finalist in Series 83 during Covid.
