Marcus Evans

Marcus is a Senior Consultant and provides support on governance effectiveness reviews, regulatory compliance and inspection, strategic reviews and development of Performance Management and Value for Money  Frameworks. 

Expertise and Experience

Marcus is a governance professional with extensive knowledge and executive experience in governance, social housing regulation and inspection, as well as compliance assessment techniques. He has expertise in supporting organisations in developing governance frameworks aligned to the requirements of the NHF Code of Governance and the UK Corporate Governance Code. Marcus has additional expertise in developing quality assurance frameworks to evidence compliance with social housing regulatory and statutory requirements. He has considerable experience in strategy development, performance management, service improvement techniques, data protection, value for money and developing customer engagement frameworks. 

About Marcus

Marcus has been with DTP since 2024 and prior to this he had more than 20 years’ experience operating at Executive Director Level. This included Company Secretary roles for Registered Providers of Social Housing registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, Companies registered under the Companies Act 2006, and Charities registered under the Charities Act 2011. In his spare time, Marcus enjoys supporting his local community and is a voluntary Chair of the Board of Governors at his local primary school.
