Senior Consultant
Stewart works in the finance, treasury and business planning team. He has more than 15 years’ experience within the external audit field and joined DTP after a successful career as a Senior Manager within BDO’s social housing audit team.
Chartered accountant Stewart has a strong background in managing large external audits, leading recruitment efforts and mentoring colleagues. He joined DTP in 2025 and has a proven track record in business development, successfully securing significant audit engagements and driving sector-focused initiatives. His extensive expertise includes FRS 102 and the Housing SORP, defined benefit pension schemes, going concern assessments, building safety, PFIs and loan covenant compliance. Stewart has a wider knowledge of working across multiple sectors with a focus on delivering high-quality services and driving team success. Known for his technical expertise in social housing, he is committed to delivering excellence in every project.
Outside of work, Stewart is an active fundraiser, passionate rugby league supporter, angler and follower of motorsport.
