Senior Consultant
Mags is a Senior Consultant supporting DTP’s work on consumer regulation, risk management and assurance & regulatory compliance.
Mags has a track record of developing and maintaining practical and effective risk management, internal controls and assurance frameworks. She has worked with directors and non-executive directors in developing risk appetite, improving risk reporting mechanisms and embedding risk understanding throughout the organisation. Mags has a thorough understanding of social housing regulation, expertise in regulatory compliance and direct experience of the regulatory inspection process. Mags’ skill set also includes fraud prevention and investigation, internal audit practice and management of both in-house and externally provided internal audit services.
Mags has worked in social housing for 30 years across a range of functions and with a variety of governance forums and leadership teams. She joined DTP in 2024 and is a qualified internal auditor and a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Mags is an experienced non-executive director within the not-for-profit sector, both within and outside of social housing. Outside work, she enjoys walking the dog, reading and the occasional family holiday.

Stewart works in the finance, treasury and business planning team. He has more than 15 years’ experience within the external audit field and joined DTP after a successful career as a Senior Manager within BDO’s social housing audit team.

Sue is a Senior Consultant and is in the treasury and business planning team. Her main role is managing and supporting a portfolio of more than 20 Brixx retainer clients, as well as supporting clients on delivering treasury strategies and undertakes interim assignments.
